  7. Service time consultation: The Kirk Session has resolved to consolidate our worship into one single Sunday morning service. During the month of December we are consulting with the congregation on an appropriate time for that service – either 10.00 am or 10.30 am. An explanatory note and a survey form is available in the display area along with a box for completed forms.
  8. Tea, coffee and mince pies & shortbread will be served in the Pitcairn Centre after today’s service.

  11. We will continue to run a cake stall on the third Thursday of each month from January onwards. We require volunteers to run the cake stalls beginning in January. List in the display area.
  12. The Pitcairn Centre will close at 12 noon on Saturday, 21 December and re-open on Monday, 6 January 2010 at 10 am.
  13. Health & Safety: The Church fire alarm and systems have recently been tested and checked both internally and by our external contractors are working. If there is a need to evacuate the premises in an emergency, please leave the building by the front door or via the rear door accessed through the rear vestibule. The duty teams will support you to leave the building safely and direct you to the assembly point outside Bonnyrigg Co-op. A copy of the Fire Evacuation Procedures is available on request from any member of the duty team.
  14. We are always looking for volunteers to read from the scriptures each Sunday. If you would like to do this there is a list in the display area.
  15. If you do not use our freewill offering envelopes you can use the white gift aid envelopes in the pews. These can also be used by visitors who are happy to fill in their details on the back. The gift aid envelopes can also be used for the monthly retiring offering. You must be a taxpayer to qualify for Gift Aid. Gift aid and Banker’s Order forms are available in the vestibule.

  9. Men’s Fellowship Christmas lunch takes place on Tues, 10 December at 12 pm in Newbattle Golf Club. List & menu in display area for names. Transport can be arranged.

  13. Cake stall on Thursday, 21 November is in aid of the Fabric Fund . This will be the last cake stall this year so let’s make it a good one! Donations can be handed in from 9 am onwards.
